Charities, Housing Associations & Public Sector
Currell offers consultancy and advice for charities and also to the public sector, not only in London but throughout the UK. We provide valuations for charities, made in accordance with The Charities Act and have acted for a number of Local Authorities and publicly funded organisations giving valuation and commercial Landlord and Tenant advice together with valuation and marketing advice for disposal of vacant premises.
As regards advice to housing associations, we prepare residual valuations to establish site value and provide ‘completed end values’ based upon planning assumptions. The advice is usually required to assist the housing association negotiate the purchase of the site as well as being required for board approval and for statutory purposes. We advise on mixed use schemes and value the affordable element in the development.
